AD Apps (“We”, “Us”, the “Company”, or “ AD Apps”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We want to inform You (“you”, “your” or “end-user”) of how we use and protect your personal information or data (“Personal Data”). This includes making you aware of your rights regarding the Personal Data that we hold.
Our Apps are GDPR compliant.
The present Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) covers the information we collect about you when you use our products or services, including all of our SaaS/Cloud software products and our downloadable software products (collectively, the “Apps”) and all public websites (“Website(s)”) provided and/or maintained by AD Apps, or otherwise interact with us (for example, by contacting us via email or Jira Service Management). We hereby refer to all of these products, Apps, and Websites, together with our other services as “Services” in this Policy. “You” means the end-user of our products or the legal entity and its affiliates who is the licensee of our products, or the visitor of our public websites.
This Policy clarifies how we may use, process and store your Personal Data. We may obtain information from You or our partners, through contracts or other legal arrangements You have with us or our partners on behalf of us, to deliver contractual/legal obligations. In other cases, we will obtain information from You with your permission and consent, or we may receive your Personal Data from third parties to whom You have given consent to pass the information on to us.
By using, downloading, or visiting any of the AD Apps’s Services, you are accepting and consenting to the practices outlined in this Policy.

Notice to End Users
Many of our Services are intended for use by organizations. If the Services are made available to you through an organization (e.g., your employer), that organization is the administrator of the Services and is responsible for controlling the access. If this is the case, please direct your data privacy questions to your administrator, as your use of the Services is subject to that organization’s policies.

Information we may collect from you
We may collect information from You because we have a legal reason (allowed by law or under contract) to collect the information, or because You have consented for us to do so for a specific purpose. If you choose not to provide us with personal information when requested, we may not be able to provide you with the information and/or services you have requested or otherwise fulfil the purpose(s) for which we have asked for the personal information.
A. Information you give us
You may provide us with information about You with your consent, for example:
By filling in a form or sending us an e-mail;
By contacting us via e-mail or some other medium to request service or support (e.g., Jira Service Management);
When you contact us via e-mail or for service through Jira Service Management, we will collect your name, your email address, your company name and any other information you choose to provide.
You may give us information for legal reasons, such as to enter into a contract with us, when You order products or services from us.
B. Information received from the Atlassian Marketplace
As part of Our Products and Services, We have access to the contact information (e.g., your name, phone number, e-mail address, any physical address) and license information (e.g., number of licenses, the term of the license, etc.) You provide when You subscribe to a license for any of Our Services or when You renew maintenance for Our Services on the Atlassian Marketplace. We do not have any access to customer data from the Atlassian Marketplace beyond this.
C. Information we collect about you
If You visit our Website or you use our Services, we may automatically collect information about you, for example:
Log files
When you interact with our Services, we generate log files to help us operate, improve and secure our apps, or support our customers in case of issues.
Log files can include:
Technical information (browser type, system configuration);

Information about what type of device You use to connect to our Website or Services; and
For our Atlassian Apps, the information we collect can include:

Atlassian Account Ids
Elements of content (such as page Ids, space keys, etc.) as necessary for Cloud Services to perform the requested operations.
All data collected in log files are used only for security and technical support. For example, we collect IP addresses to protect the security and safety of our products (prevent frauds, identify cyber-attacks, block unauthorized access, etc.).
Why does AD Apps collect your data?
AD Apps may collect your data for some or all of the following reasons:
To allow us to enhance and personalize your experience and the usability of the Services;
To continually improve our products, including adding new features or capabilities;
To provide support services (including technical support) to You after You have requested or purchased such services;
For security, safety and dispute resolution. We use your information to protect the security and safety of our products and our customers, detect and prevent fraud, confirm the validity of software licenses, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements;
For business operations (e.g. develop aggregate analysis and business intelligence that enables us to operate, protect, make informed decisions, and report on the performance of our business);
To send You information and updates about our Services if You have consented to receive such communications;
To send You occasional company news, updates, related products and services, promotions, special offers or service information about our products and Services if You have consented or requested to receive such communications. You may choose to opt-out of certain e-mail communication at any time by utilizing the “unsubscribe” feature in the e-mail message;

To provide Services to You under contract.
What legal basis does AD Apps have for processing your personal data?
AD Apps may process your information because:
We have a contract with You;
You have given us permission to do so;
We must provide products or Services to You after You have purchased something from us;
We must provide Services to You because You have requested such Services;
We have a legitimate interest (e.g. to protect our apps and systems from abuse of service or cyber-attacks);
It is necessary to comply with the law.

Who might AD Apps share your information with?
Our third-party service providers
Some of the services we provide require the involvement of our third-party service providers, such as web-hosting providers, application development, maintenance, virtual infrastructure (including storage and backup), payment processor providers, communications providers, customer relationship management providers, background check providers; recruitment firms; and software providers. We have carefully selected these third parties and have taken steps to ensure that your Personal Information is adequately protected.
Compliance with Laws and Legal Requests
We may disclose your Personal Information to a third party if we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request.
Protection of AD Apps Services

With Your Consent
We will share your Personal Data with third parties when we have your consent to do so.
Data storage and retention
We retain your personal information for the length of time required for the specific purpose or purposes for which it was collected, plus an additional three (3) months, which allows you to resume use of our services without loss of data.
We may be obliged to store some data for a longer time, for example, where a longer time is required by applicable law. In this case, we will ensure that your personal information will continue to be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Data location
We primarily store and process the data or information you provide in Europe.
Our Cloud Apps can be hosted on:

Some of the external service providers can be located in so-called third countries outside the European Union. We expect that our third-party service providers will comply with the terms of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and that any international data transfers be made under a recognized basis such as the US-EU Privacy Shield, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and/or Binding Corporate Rules.

Data Security
We use reasonable organizational, technical and administrative measures to protect your Personal Information.
All data is stored on servers with restricted access and only AD Apps’s authorized users have access to such data, to the extent required for the performance of their job duties. All staff with access to customer data are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and complete security and privacy awareness training. In addition, We will take reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your Personal Data. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be entirely secure. If you have reasons to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of any account you might have with us has been compromised), please immediately notify us of the problem.
You are responsible for keeping your passwords confidential. We will not ask You for your passwords.

Your Rights
AD Apps will respect your legal rights to your data.
As a processor of Personal Data, we will assist our customers and end-users with responding to individual rights requests that they receive under the GDPR. In many cases, customers may be able to address these types of requests by logging into the applicable product and using settings available within such product or your account. In cases in which this is not possible, please contact us to request assistance with any such individual rights requests.

The right to be informed
AD Apps is publishing this Privacy Policy to keep You informed as to what we do with your Personal Data. We strive to be transparent about how we use your data.

You have the right to access your information. Our Services give you the ability to access and update or delete certain information about you from within the Service. Please contact AD Apps if have any questions or if You wish to access the Personal Data AD Apps holds about you.
The right to rectification
If the information AD Apps holds about You is inaccurate or not complete, You have the right to ask us to rectify it. If that data has been passed to a third party with your consent or for legal reasons, then we must also ask them to rectify the data.

AD Apps may change this Policy from time to time in the future. Any such changes will be posted here. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy.
