Translating Space Homepages

Confluence does not natively support some extensions on space homepages, so the Lango Smart Switcher popup cannot be displayed on these page types. We offer an alternative solution using the Lango Switcher Macro to provide multilingual support for space homepages.

Using the Lango Switcher Macro

1. Insert the Macro:

   • In the Confluence editor, type /Lango to insert the Lango Switcher Macro

   • Publish the page

2. Create Homepage Translations:

   • After publishing, click the macro's settings button to access the language management panel. Note that the settings button is only clickable in published mode.

   • Inside the Lango management panel, set the primary language of your homepage
     
     

   • Proceed with the translation as you would for other pages.

Once configured, the Lango Switcher Macro allows users to switch between languages also on the space homepages, providing a seamless multilingual experience.
