Translating restricted content

To enable Lango to translate restricted content, you must explicitly grant the Lango user read and write access to the page. Failing to do so will prevent the translation, resulting in an error message similar to the one shown below:

Resolving Permission Issues

Follow these steps to grant the necessary permissions to the Lango user:

  • Open the Page Restrictions Panel:

    • Navigate to the page you want to translate

    • Access the restrictions panel via the page options menu

  • Grant Edit Permission to Lango User:

    • Search for "Lango" within the panel

    • Select the "Can edit" permission for this user

  • Apply the New Configuration:

    • Confirm and apply the changes to enable Lango to translate the restricted content
