Linking existing pages
If you want to reuse existing translations on your Confluence, you can link them to a page set as primary content. This will allow you to navigate between page languages using the Lango Switcher or Lango Macro. In addition to linking existing translations, you can also create translations from scratch. This can be particularly useful in scenarios requiring compliance, where data should not be shared with third parties.
How to link a page
To link an existing page as a translation:
Open the Lango Management Panel within the primary content page
Select the “Link existing page” operation
Set the translation language
Search for and select the page you wish to link to
Click on the Add button
Your page is now linked as a translation, enabling user navigation.
Unlink pages
You can deactivate the link if you no longer need a translation but wish to retain it for future use. Once unlinked, users can no longer navigate to the translation via the switcher or the macro.
To unlink a translation:
Open the Lango management panel within the primary content page
Click the "unlink" option next to the translation you want to unlink. You can relink the translation at any time.
