Lango Automation
This feature is in open beta and may be subject to sudden changes without prior notice.
Lango Automation is designed to help your teams focus on important tasks by automating language management workflows and reducing the need for manual, repetitive actions.
Enabling the Automation Feature
To use Lango Automation, it must first be enabled from the Confluence administration panel. This requires Confluence admin permissions.
Automation is managed at the space level, allowing for flexible control. You can enable automation in specific spaces or use different automation rules in different spaces.
Steps to Enable Automation:
Access the Lango Automation control panel: Navigate to Confluence Settings → Lango App → Automation.
Select the spaces where you want to enable automation.
Click Save
Audit Log
The administration panel includes an audit log feature, which displays the last 50 automations executed. This is useful for debugging and monitoring automation activities.
Create a translation config for automation
For automation to function, you must create a default global translation configuration. This configuration dictates Lango Automation's settings during translation operations, such as the provider, glossaries, and title translation.
You can read more detailed information about configurations here: Global Translation Configurations.
Enabling Automation Rules in Your Space
Users with administrative permissions in the enabled spaces can set the automation rules.
Steps to Add or Modify Automation Rules:
Access space settings: Navigate to the space settings and click on Lango settings.
On the Lango Automation panel, you can activate or modify the automation rules applied to the space.
The gallery provides a set of default rules selected by Lango, with more to be added soon, including the ability to create custom rules.
